  Problem In the modern day we are almost solely reliant on fossil fuels to power our modes of transportation. This is highly problematic as the threat of climate change is looming.  Solution  Create and distribute highly efficient low emission powered alternatives.  Unique Value Proposition Cummins is in the process of offering clean energy alternatives that do not sacrifice usability. Hydrogen power is extremely eco friendly while not suffering the drawbacks of electric power.  Unfair Advantage The field of hydrogen energy is relatively untapped, and Cummins is in a position to be a leader in the field. Cummins also has an excellent reputations in building some of the best heavy engines on the planet. Customer Segments There will be a variety of target customers and these targets include governments, private industry, and individual consumers.  Channels  Currently Cummins sells their engines through government contracts, contracts with large corporations, and through dealer networks

 Introduction  Setting the stage for the class by getting everyone familiar with definitions and how these businesses function compared to a typical for profit. Why we need these type of businesses.  How to operate a business in this way.  Gives details of how to get the business off the ground, how to structure it, and finally how to make it function.   Conclusion  Gives an outlook of the impact these businesses have. 

Final project rough draft.

      I am heavily inclined to use the case study option for our final assignment. Typically I would move towards something more entrepreneurial, but Tesla being an option for the study changed that. Tesla is a fascinating company that in a few short years has went from being non-existent to challenging some of the auto industry's biggest players. Outside of them doing excellent in a highly competitive market, I also like that they are an example of the market succeeding giving us a cleaner alternative to fossil fuel vehicles.  My case study will focus on how Tesla came to be, and what Elon Musk did to make it become the powerhouse it is today. I will begin at the conception of Tesla before Elon got involved, and I would like to go step by step through their history and finish off where the company is today.  Ah yes, the millennial aesthetic. The only style of design that I am aware of where every single item needs to call attention to itself. Perhaps you have encountered a room or store with this aesthetic? if you have, I'm sure that you will recall seeing neon signs with odd fonts, brightly coloured furniture, and possibly a strong smell that you can't quite put your finger on. Personally, I find this aesthetic to be obnoxious, the fact that every single thing in the room competes for attention makes me feel like I am back in Vegas, and not in a good way. Although this design typically disgusts me I do understand why people enjoy the usefulness of it. In this millennial aesthetic, every item is striving to fill its role in the most practical, and simple way possible, and I believe that does have some inherent value that makes it justifiable, but please no more neon pink signs with cheesy phrases on them.
